Originally launched by Adam Beyer in 1996 as an outlet for his own material, Drumcode has since went on to be a home for material from such influential artists as Joey Beltram, Slam and Perc.

To celebrate making it to the grand old age of 15, the label have lined up a 28 track collection of new goodies that showcase both the imprint’s current roster and also dips its toes into the future.

With solid material from Ben Sims, Dustin Zahn, Chris Liebing, The Advent and many more the album manages to move between the full on techno material and more melodic house outings.

It’s hard to pick a favourite from the bunch as pretty much every track is worth a mention but Ben Sims’ contribution “Make That Shit Funk” stands out for me as a track that’s sure to be a fixture in the playlists of many Djs for a long time to come.

You can pick this album up now at Beatport and for a longer taster of what to expect, here’s Adam Beyer’s set recorded at the 15 Years of Drumcode event at Awakenings in Amsterdam.
