Conforce – Escapism

Dutch producer Conforce is back with a long player on Delsin. His sound is characterised by taking the basic house DNA and crossing it with a tougher techy edge while still retaining a nice underground feel.
Although this album gives us more of the same, there is a sense that a bit more exploration into electronica and leftfield samples is at work here. The name Conforce is a sign of quality as he has proven countless time on the likes of Rush Hour and Clone.
We have some samples below to get the juices flowing with “Shadows of the Invisible” up first as a long slow techy builder.
Next “Aquinas Control” goes experimental with a nice horn stab sequence and a hypnotic groove.
Lastly “Revolt dx” has a straight up underground house vibe to kick the album off the get the body sliding.
Out on the 28th November, this is a must purchase for all fans of quality house music.

Got the whole ‘Escapism” album recently and listened to it a lot. Really great, shows wonderful restraint, subtlety and maturity in the formation and development of the grooves. It’s also very futuristic sounding, which I like a lot, with plenty of deep bass and cinematic soundscape. Shadows of The Invisible is of course superb, best piece of music I’ve heard all year, but the rest is pretty damn good, especially Diversion, and Lonely Run. Get it.
