Contakt – Not Forgotten EP

We first came across Contakt when he remixed blog favourite Svpreme Fiend last year. This time the NYC native and resident at the city’s TurboTax night/blog goes solo with a release on the ever quality label Local Action run by Tom Lea.

Tile track “Not Forgotten” has a bell synth arrangement over a 2 step hats and snare run while a 4/4 drives the track on. This is quality but for us the b side is where the gems lie with techno number “Rhodpphyta” and an amazing tribal like Detroit techno remix of the title track from Rolando which you can check below.
