Four Tet – Love Cry/Our Bells
It’s been a while since there’s been any new Four Tet material (aside from the Burial collabs) and this limited 12″ on Domino came as a nice wee surprise. It’s a taster for his forthcoming new album “There Is Love In You” coming at the end of January 2010.
“Love Cry” is a lovely wee breaky number with crispy clean drums, muffled pads and a floaty female vocal, cracking stuff. On the flip “Our Bells” is a 7 minute chime and bell frenzy.
