As the Soma 20th birthday celebrations continue, they’ve taken a wee dig into their archive and lined up some quality producers to turn their hands to Funk D’Void’s huge 2001 anthem “Diabla”.

The pick of the bunch for me is the Christian Smith and Wehbba rework, taking the moody bassline and uplifting pads of the original and wrapping them around a tasty tranced out house number.

The pack also includes a big drum n bass remix from Metrik while Joash rounds off the remix package by amping the strings up to 11 and throwing some lovely drum work into the mix underneath the huge atmospherics above.

The remixes arrive on the 20th of June and here’s the original to take us on a wee trip down memory lane.
