Future Engineers – Ellipse EP
Originally hailing from Glasgow and now based in Brighton, the Future Engineers have been producing some top quality drum n bass on the deeper side of the spectrum since 1997. Past releases on labels such as Good Looking, 720 and Partisan established them as one of the top production units in the scene and after a brief hiatus they return with their own imprint – Transference Recordings.
There really couldn’t be a better time for their return, with the deeper side of drum n bass finding huge favour at the moment with the popularity of the Autonomic sound opening the doors far and wide.
The four tracks on the EP are packed with enough beats and bass to fill the dancefloor but wrapped in enough atmosphere and depth to provide perfect home listening.
