Hot City – Lonely Boy
It has to be said that we’re more than a tad partial to a bit of Hot City goodness here at the Labs. Their recent Hot Chip and Qemists remixes have been main stays in the playlist over the past couple of months and we were more than a tad excited when their next release landed in the inbox. The a-side of the release is a vocal-lead number called “Twist” but we’re all about “Lonely Boy” on the flip.
Big bassy garagey goodness is the order of the day here and we’re in trademark Hot City territory with rave stabs and vocal snippets galore. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
Forthcoming on Moshi Moshi and available digitally on the 10th of October with a vinyl release following on the 1st of November.
