John Tejada & Josh Humphrey – Marooned

I first came across John Tejada when he worked on some drum n bass for Violence Recordings. As his name was new to me, I did a bit of digging to find out if he’d released any more material and discovered a whole wealth of amazing techno, house and electronica going way back to 1996. He also runs his own label – Palette Recordings – on which, this EP is released.

It’s a tasty three tracker dipping it’s toes into the deeper side of techno with a sprinkling of tech house magic. The title track’s my personal favourite – a big chunky techy house number.
