Jónsi – Go Do EP

In January 2010, Sigur Rós announced that they would be going on hiatus until further notice. While this initially shocked and saddened fans, it didn’t take long for lead vocalist and guitarist Jónsi to unveil some new solo material (having previously released the Riceboy Sleeps album with boyfriend Alex Somers) and announce a new album entitled “Go” – set for release in April this year.

As a taster for the album, the “Go Do EP” is set to land on XL at the end of March and marks the album out as a must have. Inevitably retaining an ethereal sound a la Sigur Rós these three tracks will definitely please fans of the band’s work.
