Kamikaze Space Programme – Algus EP

While known for his drum n bass production, Raiden’s output has always been underpinned by a smattering of techno sounds and structure. This has now become fully realised with new alias Kamikaze Space Programme.
There are already a handful of releases in the pipeline, the first of which – the “Algus EP” lands on DecaRhythm on the 21st of November. He’s in good surroundings with previous releases coming from the likes of Orphan 101 and this opening salvo from the new project is certainly impressive.
From the fuzzy bass driven shenanigans of “Rover” to the tribal beats of “Chorizo” via the chirpy melodies of “Umbongo” right through to the space and depth of “Lawn”, it’s an EP that’s sure to attract the attention of many and see Raiden moving further into this territory.
