Lazy Sundays: Grouper

For those uninitiated in the world of Grouper, it’s the solo project of American musician Liz Harris who creates vast complex soundscapes though ambient noises, field recordings as well as electronic and acoustic instruments.

This is music that can stir deep emotion as well has having the ability to send you to sleep as the sounds flow over you. As well as her last two mini albums “Alien Observer” and “Dream Loss” you also have the amazing album “Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill” and her seminal work “Way Their Crept”.
