Lords of Flatbush – 999 (Toddla T rmx)

Sheffield’s Lord of Flatbush will be a name new to many but your ears will likely have heard their productions before, the duo behind Flatbush (Steve Edwards and Fill Jones) have worked with artists such as Basement Jaxx, Sly & Robbie and Bjork and their latest project has been picking up some attention lately following a cracking Radio 1 session.

New single “999″ comes out on 29th July and there’s a pack of quality remixes, the best of which for me is the Toddla T rework. Taking the original and dipping it in some dirty dancefloor vibes and delivering a big wonky house mix, it’s a mix sure to bring the Lords of Flatbush some more much deserved attention.
