    Lynx & Kemo

Lynx & Kemo’s 2009 album “The Raw Truth” was an amazing journey through Lynx’s razor sharp beats, atmospherics and bass with Kemo’s thought provoking lyrics and top quality delivery combining perfectly to unleash an eerie apocalyptic vibe. Now 2010 sees the launch of Lynx’s own imprint – Detail Recordings.

May 31st marks the labels debut release and it sees the duo team up once more for an amazing piece of atmospheric drum n bass with one eye firmly on the dancefloor.

As well as the original dnb mix there’s also a cracking dubstep mix from Seed and a chunky breaks mix from RuN RiOT. There’s also a house mix and a glitchy hip hop mix from Lynx himself. It’s the last two that I’ve had on constant play with Kemo’s voice fitting the chunky dark house vibes perfectly and the doomy hip hop mix providing the perfect soundtrack to those late night walks home through the sketchier bits of town.

Have a listen for yourself and I’ve also added the brilliant video for the original – lots more video goodies over on Detail’s YouTube page.

There’s also some more audio clips over on their Soundcloud page including two special minimixes from Lynx.
