Mosca – The Wavey EP

We were still swaying with joy to the garage vibes of the Mosca EP for Numbers (covered here) when this little gem hit our inbox courtesy of 3024. By the look of the track names it’s based on a good night out and when you hear the tunes, the quality does not disappoint.
Its kicks off with a side “Don Perignon” with a 4/4 backdrop mixed up with off step percussion and slick vocal notes.
Next to drop in is “Orange Jack”, dominated by vocals at the start this has a more party vibe with horn and synth stabs to keeps things boiling over nicely.
We then hit the “Jager” which picks up the pace and hits the techno vibe in a straight up manner.
“Wray ‘n Neph” finishes off the EP nicely with it’s shuffly house vibes driven by some minor note sub bass. This one’s digital only though.
Its a quality EP with interesting changes of style without changing the basics of the tracks. We’re glad to see Mosca busy again as he is both a great producer and selector. Set for release on November 7th.
