Promise One – Glyph/Dissonance

Glasgow’s Reboot Records have brought many a new dubstep producer to our attention in their short but prolific lifespan and next to join their catalogue is London’s Promise One.

“Glyph” combines dark atmospherics with eerie synth work that seems to crawl into your ears while seas of sub bass float beneath while “Dissonance” on the flip takes a slightly tougher approach but still retains enough depth for the track to work away from the dancefloor.

Released on May 23rd, this is a top quality debut for the producer and marks him out as one to watch in 2011. Pop on over to Dubstep Origins for an interview with Promise One to find out more.
