Sega Bodega takes on Rustie & Machinedrum – free downloads

Peace impressed us hugely in 2011 with his “Hungry” and “Mo Money” EPs and the end of the year saw him adopt a new artist name in Sega Bodega.
To kick off the year with the new moniker, he’s taken on two of his biggest influences and sprinkled his own unique flavour over a couple of their tracks.
First up is Machinedrum and “Alarma”, originally released on a ltd 12″ through LuckyMe, Bodega retains the high pitched main hook while managing to make the track feel as if it’s leaning backwards at a 90° angle.
Next up is Rustie’s “City Star”, again adding a serene calm to proceedings but retaining the original hook. Lovely stuff.
So if these have whet your appetite, look out for more original material from the producer and we feel we’ll be hearing a lot from him in 2012.
