Simian Mobile Disco – Cruel Intentions remixes
I have to admit I have a bit of a soft spot for Beth Ditto and Gossip so when she teamed up with SMD for this tune on their 2nd album “Temporary Pleasure”, I was lapping it up. Quality vocals from the lass and electroy beats from SMD made for a brilliant match and it was definitely one of the stand out tracks on the album.
Now they’ve let some top quality producers loose on the track for remix duties. Pick of the bunch is Joker’s remix with it’s big chunky old skool electro style beats and speaker rattling bass while Dj Pierre’s remix is a bit of a belter too in an acidy house stylee – give them a listen below:
