Synkro & Indigo – Guidance/Reflection

Exit keep the releases rolling following the brilliant ASC 12 we reviewed last week. Next up are Manchester producers Synkro & Indigo.

Both artists made their solo debuts for the label with tracks on the “Mosaic Vol 1″ compilation but have released several joint efforts with a new track also set for release on the next compilation from Gilles Peterson’s “Brownswood” imprint.

While their output usually steers clear of any noticable genre pigeonholing, we’re most definitely in drum n bass territory here. Both tracks have an early Good Looking feel and capture that classic era within the genre without sounding at all dated.

This is a brilliant 12″ that further marks out Synkro and Indigo as producers to watch in 2011. Released on the 6th of June and available to pre-order now at the Exit shop.
