The Ghost – City Lights (The Deadstock 33′s Remix) – free download
The Ghost are the latest signing to Rob Da Bank’s Sunday Best imprint and are tipped by many to be a band to watch this year. They launch their offensive on the music industry on the 31st of May with their debut single “City Lights”.
The original mix is an infectious slice of indie pop but it’s Justin Roberton’s Deadstock 33′s remix that caught my attention. I’ve long been a fan of pretty much anything that Justin Robertson touches and wasn’t to be disappointed by this outing.
What you get for your money is a lovely house number with a bassline that’s 110% disco and sure to be lighting up dancefloors this summer across the world, grab the track for free below. Other remixes come from David E Sugar, Jon Carter’s Repeat Offenders and The Kenneth Bager Experience.
