San Francisco producer Eprom has given our friends at XLR8R the hot new track “Never,” a mature slice of post-garage wonkiness that wobbles, skitters, and pulses its way through more than five minutes of genre-bending magic. The song appears on the about-to-be-released Never EP, the debut release on the Surefire Sound imprint. Its only 128kps quality but we thought this was too good a freebie for you to miss.

Eprom – Never

The original mix of this collab between Edinburgh’s finest Profisee and California’s Eprom appeared towards the end of last year and it’s just turned up on Boomkat with this absolutely brilliant remix.

The original is a chunky dubstep number reminiscent of Skream’s “Midnight Request Line” and this remix flips proceedings and takes a brilliant, laid back hip hop approach, which I personally think suits Profisee’s phenomenal vocal to a T.

The EP also features “What It Seems” (original, instrument and remix from The Blessings) alongside these two versions and an instrumental of “Zoning”.
