It’s my turn again for the roast – and once again I’ve plumped for a rather tasty Roast Beef recipe.

As always, there’s a bumper selection of tunes to get yer shuffle on while you’re waiting on this particular roast and first up we’ve got an absolutely ridiculously funky number from FaltyDL. Now we’re very partial to a Weatherall remix here at the Labs – and when he’s taking on Nick Cave and the Grinderman boys, well we’re not sure it could really get any better.

If you’ve been following the previous Sunday Roast recipe ideas you’ll have been listening to some cracking music while consuming a lot of meat.

Just to mix things up a bit, for a change, here’s a wee “roasted pancetta wrapped fish with salad” recipe to try out. This is best served with some of the following fresh accompaniments on the sound system.

First up and recently released on the Ghostly label is Phuturelabs favourite Mux Mool’s “Wax Rose Saturday EP”. Glitchy lo fi hip hop electronica is the order of day here. It’s Sunday morning, my head feels like someone’s run over it with a steamroller and it’s time to wrap up this week’s best of the rest. As is traditional I’ve chosen a lovely sunday roast and once again I’ve gone for a pork badboy.

Well while Cliff’s been out getting his groove on to Modeselektor at NMBRS this weekend, I’ve been mainly doing nothing and am still recovering from the excesses of Easter Weekend. As it’s my turn for the roast, I’ve lined up this cracking bit of Roast Pork.

Next up we have one of my favourite bands – Found, I caught them a coupla weeks ago at the Homegame festival and they finished with this, from last year’s Fidelities EP, it’s a cracker and with a new album due in the next few months, this will hopefully be a taste of things to come.

Marc Mac is one half of the legendary 4 Hero but he’s also well known for his breakbeat hardcore material as Manix. Reinforced have recently released “The Early Plates Vol 2″ which showcases more of his brilliant early material and this is one of my faves.
