It was with open ears and arms that we welcomed the news of the return of the legendary Suburban Base imprint, even running a post detailing our top 10 favourites from their almost flawless discography.
It was without doubt one of the most influential labels in the history of electronic music and for those who were unacquainted with its back catalogue they released a shiny new 3 CD compilation featuring some of its finest moments (all digitally remastered for 2014) entitled “The History of Hardcore, Jungle, Drum & Bass: 1991 – 1997″.
From the frantic breakbeat piano action of Sonz of a Loop Da Loop Era and Rachel Wallace through to the darker leanings of DJ Hype and the Phuture Assassins via deeper beats from D’Cruze and amen perfection from Remarc, the album is an absolute must have for pretty much anyone with a working set of ears.
We’ve got two copies of the album up for grabs and to be in with a chance of picking one up – all you have to do is pick your social network and share/whatever it is you do on these things/retweet/+1 the following posts/status update (isn’t the social stuff all just so needlessly complicated):

Myspace…only kidding
We’ll have a look through the old analytics on Monday 31st of March, pick two winners and get in touch to get your address before sending it your way.
