Chez Damier – Untitled
When it come to stories about the origins of the Detroit and Chicago scenes, a name sure to be at the forefront is Chez Damier. After starting The Music Institute in the late 80′s in Detriot, Chez (aka Anthony Pearson) then ran the KMS studio and label for Kevin Saunderson.
Then the real business of making music began, working alongside Ron Trent, Prescription Records released some of the most classic underground house tunes ever made. My personal favourite is simply called “Untitled” and in some DJ’s opinions is one of the greatest house tunes of all time.
