Double 99 – RIP Groove (Klient rmx) – free download

If there’s one sub genre that I really miss, it’s speed garage. During its heydey in the 90s the anthems racked up and one of the biggest tunes to come out of that particular period was Double 99′s “RIP Groove”.

Up and coming duo Klient have taken it upon themselves to bring the tune kicking and screaming into 2013 with this rather tidy rework. The main hook elements remain but that bassline has taken a bit of a beating from a late 90s techstep tune and come out all the better for it.

Cracking stuff and a free download to boot.
