While little is known about Drumtalk and the producer or producers behind the moniker, the music has certainly been doing the talking. Stripped free of any hype, moody press shots taken in tunnels and exclusives previews on trendy music blogs owned by multinationals, the beats have been breathing a life of their own.

Previous appearances on imprints such as More Music and Labs fave Huntleys + Palmers have quickly marked the name out as a must buy on our part and this new 12″ for London imprint GETME! certainly continues the trend.

First track “SNB” is a hypnotic wee slab of house goodness with a perfectly squelched synth hook and a rhythm track to die for with a lovely dirty wee pad sound making an appearance later and putting the icing firmly on the cake. Flip the file over and “Super Vega” on the flip dirties the water slightly with its brilliant but slightly unsettling hook line, no vocals from Suzanne though unfortunately.

Lovely stuff. Grab the digital download at Juno.
