Guest Mix: Cabaret Nocturne (Join Our Club)

It’s been a healthy year so far release wise but when Cabaret Nocturne’s “Astro Tango EP” dropped into the inbox we were all ears. With it’s blend of italo disco style basslines, punchy kicks and uplifting synth work a-plenty it’s a tremendous introduction to the Belgian producer’s work for those yet to experience it.

The EP comes with remixes from Justin Robertson in his Deadstock 33s guise and impressive up and coming producer XY-Me but it’s the originals that do the trick for us. You can pick it up right now at Beatport.

With a handful of remixes also in the pipeline and a release imminent for the Moustache Label we thought we’d catch up with Raphaël de Sauvage AKA Cabaret Nocturne himself.

He kindly delivered this rather tidy guest mix that showcases his skills behind the ol’ digital turntables also and with work from the likes of Fur Coat, Timothy J Fairplay and Jesse Rose sitting alongside his own material it’s the perfect accompaniment to the incoming summer.
