While I’d mentioned his youth in our review of his brilliant “Dirty Art EP”, it probably served as a distraction to the main point that Elliot Adamson‘s refreshing take on house and techno quickly saw his material find favour with tastemakers-a-plenty including the likes of Levon Vincent and each new morsel materialising from his studio further improves that reputation.
He’s been a firm favourite around these parts since we discovered that EP and his latest outing, the “Transatlantic EP” for London’s Troupe Records, sees him soften his sound slightly but round it off nicely in all the right places.
Get your ears around the lead track from that EP below and pop on over to Juno to snap up the EP if you know what’s good for your ears.
For those uninitiated with Elliot’s sound, he’s kindly put us together a crackin’ guest mix packed with top drawer 4/4 goodness that showcases his talent behind the turntables whilst also showcasing his own beats and bobs – sling the headphones, get your head around the mix and prepare to be hearing a lot more of Elliot Adamson through 2015.
