Spanish DJ and producer Kastil has been finding his way into our ears more and more over the past years and his Soul Notes imprint has undoubtedly gone from strength to strength. His taste for house and techno with a darker, more atmospheric tint has made him a firm favourite around these parts and beyond.

His latest outing sees him team up with I-Real for the “Voodoo EP” and finds him in fine fettle, it won’t arrive until January but we’ve got a wee exclusive taster now in the shape of our pick of the bunch – “Chang”, a big analogue growler that should get your appetite thoroughly whet for the rest of the EP.

To get a further glimpse into the world of Kastil and Soul Notes, he’s kindly delivered us a bit of a belter of a guest mix with the likes of Randomer, Lee Gamble, Karenn, Marcel Dettmann and more making an appearance.

Future Sound of London obsessive with a taste for moody house, techno and drum n bass. I was also rather partial to speed garage and am still slightly obsessed with early 90s rave. To keep up with more of my shocking banter or to get in touch you can get me on Google+ and Twitter.
