>>Download Klient’s September 2015 mix for Phuturelabs<<

While both members of Klient had impressed with early solo material, it was their collaborations that really brought out the best in both of them and brought their sound to the wider world.

2013’s monstrous “Harem” made lots of labels stand up and take notice and in 2014 the esteemed (now sadly no more) Trouble & Bass snapped up an EPs worth of belters from the boys and ensured that anyone with an interest in dirty house with hefty amounts of bass knew all about them.

Their latest outing sees them team up with 877 and finding themselves infine company with the likes of My Nu Leng, GoldFFinch and Sly-One having already made their mark on the label’s discography. Their “Kosa EP” packs plenty of punch with a late 90s tech step feel working it’s way into the tracks and adding an element of dirt lacking in many of their contemporaries material that’s seen the tracks supported by the likes of DJ Zinc and Shadow Child.

To mark the EP’s release the duo have put us together a cracker of a guest mix to showcase their skills behind the turntables, get in about it!

Future Sound of London obsessive with a taste for moody house, techno and drum n bass. I was also rather partial to speed garage and am still slightly obsessed with early 90s rave. To keep up with more of my shocking banter or to get in touch you can get me on Google+ and Twitter.
