    Art Of Noise

Undoubtedly one of the most influential electronically led groups of the 80s, Art Of Noise’s 1984 debut album “(Who’s Afraid Of?) The Art Of Noise” is a brilliant piece of work that was groundbreaking at the time and still deserves your attention nearly 30 years on.

Blending mechanical noises and subtle industrial leanings alongside ridiculously catchy hooks and infectious grooves, it’s a must have for anyone with an intererest in electronic music.

Featuring the original full five-piece line up of Gary Langan, J. J. Jeczalik, Anne Dudley, Trevor Horn and Paul Morley, the album features two of their most well known tracks in “Moments In Love” and “Close (To The Edit)” but the nine tracks contained within all have their merits.

Those two *are* great songs, but you forgot the best of all Beatbox. I believe this album had the Diversion One version. Diversion 10 also exists and it the one I know from my youth, right in the heart of my breaking phase.

Isn’t that Lol Creme, ex -10cc on the left… or his doppelganager… classic tracks.
