With only a handful of releases under their belt, Glasgow duo Mia Dora have quickly become one of electronic music’s most talked about new names.
They’re closely affiliated with the esteemed High Sheen imprint and Jaymo & Andy George’s Moda Black but their biggest release to date is set to land on November 11th, the brilliant “You In The Future” for house legend Kerri Chandler’s Madtech label.
We caught up with Al and Rob from the duo and instead of going for the usual dull interview questions, we decided to find out about the tunes that find their way into theirs ears the day after the night before when they’d like to be taking things a little bit easier…
Read on for some rather fine tunes and find out what they mean to Mia Dora

They were always so infectious and this is one is still one of my favourite tracks.

Plurato – Track 5

To play the media you will need to either update your browser to a recent version or update your Flash plugin.A friend of mine did a series of tracks about 5 years ago under the name Plurato and this was only available to stream via Myspace. I had to upload the video myself as it’s very difficult to find online but it’s got an amazing feel to it.
Rhye – The Fall
This track is becoming a bit of a modern classic for me and it’s also my girlfriend’s favourite song. Sunday’s would mostly be spent with her so this is perfect.
Richie Havens – Going Back To My Roots

Perfect after party tune.
Zero 7 – Destiny
My favourite chill out tune ever.
Wendy Rene – After Laughter Comes Tears
