Mick Finesse delivers a guest mix of top quality techno with a crunch fresh from the DEMF

Denver techno producer Mick Finesse is a firm favourite around these parts with the phenomenally good “Spatial Anxiety EP” for Broken20 being one of last year’s finest releases by far.

His back catalogue also includes some fine outings for the mighty Perc Trax and he also recently launched his own 22 imprint with the “Forage/Frolic EP” and looks set to deliver perhaps one of the best electronic albums of recent years when his full length debut lands on Broken20 in the next few months.

He’s also a rather fine DJ and we’d been chasing him for a mix for quite a while. He put this mix together fresh from performing at the Perc Trax showcase at DEMF and while full of the inspiration that event provided.

It’s a brilliant moody and tough in all the right places techno mix with material from the likes of Blawan, Paula Temple, Regis and features Kowton’s phenomenal “TFB” on Glasgow’s own All Caps imprint. Get it downloaded.
