Modeselektor and Objekt continue the Radiohead reworks

The Radiohead remixes continue to sneak out ahead of the full double CD of remixes release in early October. The latest reworks come courtesy of Modeselektor and Objekt and, although I feel like I’ve said this for all the volumes released so far, may be the best yet.

Modeselektor step up first and as we’re eagerly awaiting their new album “Monkeytown”, this whets the appetite nicely with its 4/4 rhythm, headphone trembling sub bass and jaw droppingly good synth work all wrapped up in a bundle of perfectly produced techno goodness.

New talent Objekt is next in line and his small but perfectly formed back catalogue of goodies have set the bar high and this remix is his finest moment so far.

A lovingly EQ’d break pounds along underneath 808 hits, a crunchy synth line and a smattering of Yorke’s vocal to create a chunky rework that defies pigeonholing.

    Available now at Boomkat.
