Modifier – Shady Lane EP
Friends of the blog Modifier have a new EP due out on the 4th July. Comprising of Sean Kerwin (Glasgow) and Chris Shelswell (Auckland), they are a prime example of cross global musical collaboration that is becoming more common as technology advances.
Techno is the name of the game here and the original of the track “Shady Lane” is a straight up stomper with electro extras for good measure. We then have a series of remixes from the likes of Wez Saunders taking a more spaced out and persuasive approach to the more twisted tribal attack of Justin Steel.
