Back in the early 90’s one DJ took the world by storm, Sasha. He was the first superstar DJ donning the cover of every dance music publication throughout the decade and commanding hugh fees everywhere he played. One of the first compilations he first released was “Renaissance” with John Digweed which I virtually wore out.

A reflection of the tunes played at the legendary nightclub, it’s was a cunning blend of vocal house, trance and tougher beats that captured the imagination and spawned the genre progressive house. Through all the hype, the fact remains that Sasha was an amazing DJ and when I saw this mix doing the rounds I though it would be rude not to share.
