Here at the Labs we have always been partial to a good re-edit. If you trawl the likes of Soundcloud you will find a multitude of producers putting their own twist of original tracks.
There is no doubt that one of the best we have come across in recent years is The Apple Scruffs. He doesn’t just stick to funk, soul and disco as so many do but is happy to turn his hand to any genre and work his magic.
This time round we have a great collection of classic hop hip from artists such as Gang Starr, Souls Of Mischief and Ice T. Beefed up and looped with a few tweaks added, these might not be for the purist but they certainly get the feet moving and heads knodding.
