The Black Dog – Liber Kult

While The Black Dog’s recent Music For Real Airports album was enjoyed by all here at the Labs, we couldn’t help but crave some new techno goodness from the Dog. It seems we weren’t alone and this year will see three stripped back techno 12s from the trio ahead of their new album for Soma in October.

The first of the three has arrived in the shape of “Liber Kult” and comes loaded with two slices of bass driven beauty. First track “Black Chamber Order” is a chunky driving techno number that leans itself to dark rooms, late nights/early mornings and maybe a little too much strobe. On the flip “Bass Mantra” takes the foot off the gas a little and sprinkles some acid over proceedings.

Unfortunately the vinyl is sold out but you can head on to the Dust Science Store and pre-order the digital version now ahead of it’s release on the 1st of August.
