Sheffield, as with many cities across the UK, has a rich electronic music heritage and last year The Black Dog got together with some like minded souls and started up the Electronic Supper Club as a way of bringing the cities artistic talents together.
Since its inception they’ve broadcast a host of events live on the web and showcased some amazing new talent as well as some of their more well known friends. Think of it as a Boiler Room without the hipsters and chat room.
The latest release from tBd was born out of inspiration from these collaborations and pays tribute to the cities musical past without ever getting caught up in nostalgia. The four tracks fill their time with bleeps and blips but come wrapped in surroundings that capture the present perfectly.
You can grab this from the 11th of March on 12″ vinyl and digital download.
